HELLO WORLD!

If you don't know by now...

i am a SOAPTRESS!
or, as many tend to call myself - The Mad Alchemist. I'm cool with that. It's pretty true anyhow.

Mixing and mashing, stirring and measuring, concocting new recipes and scents, inhaling vapors, dabbling in sodium hydroxide, swirling colours, a dash of this a dash of that...occasionally burning things BUT yet to blow anything up, i am always in STYLIN industrial goggles, big ol' black rubber gloves, and of course, a dainty fanciful apron that went from SO beautiful to SO...not beautiful...well, at least it smells REAL REAL good :)

I do want all my blogger friends, customers, and anyone who reads this to know that each of my bars are made with COMPLETE love and devotion, all my soul is mixed right along with EACH bars ingredients. They all have a STORY, a flow, and a meaning...sometimes people just have fun reading the paragraphs underneath the bars so much they forget it is "just soap" and a temporarily transported to an imaginary land, a different place in time, a dreamy state. And that is exactly my intentions...for you to not just think of my art as a"plain ol' bar of soap" but more of a living extension of something bigger and brighter all mixed up in the SPIRIT of soap and suds...the spirit of YUMMY, the spirit of EXPRESSION and the beating PULSE of Creativity. I want you to feel special. And if I can do that, I am constantly one step closer to my goal :)

My bars are healthy, chemical-free, eco-friendly, 85% CERTIFIED Organic, and weigh on average between 5 to 6 oz. They are pretty big bars for your buck!!! That is REALLY important to me too. It's not always an easy road, but the good ones never are. I feel eventually, in my soul and in my bones, that a fair price for an excellent GOOD FOR YOU bar of soap is the way to go. My Essential Oils and Extracts are the BEST on the market (i think...right?!) and they serve far more purposes than to just make you smell good! They penetrate the pores and are BENEFICIAL to your overall health and happiness. When you SUDS UP with Banjo Bay...be confident that you are using a bar that started as simply oils and water...and in four weeks became a sustainable, happy slice of heaven.
